I have to say, I have no interest in reading the book but I'd love to see the movie. What a great trailer!
I was discussing that with a friend of mine recently--these books take waaaaay too much time to read for me to want to read them. They would, however, make great graphic novels or movies.
Awesome.Oh, speaking of graphic novels and zombies, there is a set called "Jesus hates Zombies."
I find that hard to believe, since he was the walking undead Himself. (Kidding, kidding.)
I just started Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. It's pretty fun so far. Also, I hear the same publishers (and possibly the same author as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?) are working on a twisted biography, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"
I saw that somewhere, too! I'm so torn about these--on the one hand, I think only someone who has already read the original is really going to "get it." On the other hand, I don't think someone who is only interested in reading a farce is going to bother picking up the original.I just dread the day that I ask someone, "Have you ever read any Jane Austen?" and he or she answers, "Oh, I LOVED Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!" [Shudder.]
