Check Out the Digital Dead Sea Scrolls

I know there's a lot of bitching about Google taking over the world and the death of books and blah blah blah, but there's something to be said about technology that makes things like this possible.

Whoever produced this video did a great job in how they managed to convey a sense of awe and wonder while managing to inform and promote Google in the process. I am curious how many hours it took them to create these 2 minutes of magic.

Yeah, they did a good job of not focusing on the technology aspect in what's essentially a commercial for Google. I think they used Adobe AfterEffects... that's on my wishlist for next year.
