A friend has been trying to get me to read Gladwell for a while. I've been on the fence. It's not that I don't want to, it just seems... rather academic. Interesting, yes, but I do enough work at work. Worth picking up?
Do it! He does a really good job of telling stories to illustrate his point, so that it doesn't feel like work. (My reading time is so limited anymore I wouldn't recommend something I don't actually enjoy.)I'd start with Outliers, if I were you. What the Dog Saw had less of an over-arching "so what" factor. I have Tipping Point but it's currently sitting in my TBR pile.
