I graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and ten grand in debt, only to realize that English degrees don't help you in this thing called the "real world."  By November of that year, I had a job in much-hated Corporate America, where I've been employed ever since.  Nice work if you can get it, but I much prefer reading and writing--and I much prefer writing about reading.

Since that time, I was transferred away from my beloved Colorado to Texas, where I have little-to-no time to blog regularly, hence the declining number of posts in recent months.  While I love my new job, I definitely miss the days of puttering around the online literary world hours every day.  Le sigh.
